International Morse translator

Translate letters and digits to Morse, or decode space-separated Morse.

A–Z and 0–9 only. In Morse, separate characters with spaces and words with /. Up to 10,000 characters. Punctuation, accents and prosigns are unsupported.

How this tool works

International Morse represents a letter or digit with dots and dashes. This tool uses spaces between character codes and / between words. SOS becomes ... --- ... . Those spaces are separators, not part of the last code. Decoding returns uppercase text. Repeated whitespace is normalized, so formatting is not reversible.

The supported subset is the 26 unaccented Latin letters and ten digits from ITU-R M.1677-1. Punctuation, accented letters, procedural signals and transmission timing are outside this tool’s scope.
